SUBMITTING PHOTOS  FOR THE 2008 BEARDIES OF THE WORLD CALENDAR

The photos used for the calendar are selected by a panel of volunteer judges from photographs submitted by Bearded Collie lovers worldwide.  There is no compensation if your photo is chosen (not even a free calendar), but all proceeds from the calendar are donated to beardie health and rescue causes worldwide. AND the people and beardies in the photo will be identified, so you will get "braggin rights."

NOTE THAT PHOTOS WILL NOT BE RETURNED
Each person can submit up to 12 photos, but only one per person can be chosen.
All digital photos must be converted to a print for submission; we will not accept floppy discs or CDs.

Information must be placed on a LABEL attached to the back of the photo and must include:

  • the name of the person with whom the dog resides
  • the name of the dog (call name or registered name)
  • the city and country which is home to the dog and owner
  • the category in which the photo is being submitted, your photo may be used in a different, more suitable category

Please print clearly. Please use a label for the back of your photo.
 WE NEED THIS INFORMATION SEPARATELY FOR EACH PHOTO, OTHERWISE YOUR BEST PICTURES MAY NOT BE USED BECAUSE WE CAN'T IDENTIFY THEM!

     Frisbees, balls, tug toys and underwear (?)

 
  • Too Smart For Their Own Good
     Are they smarter than you? So smart they are nothing but trouble?
  • SPLASH!
     Beardies enjoying being wet.

     Agility, running, soccer or Frisbee anyone?
  • Beardies in Motion
     Are they ever still? Catch them in motion.

 
  • Bunches of Beardies
     More than one Beardie? A Burfitt of beardies?

     Must be born between 3/1/2006 to present

Questions? Some helpful hints on taking photos for the calendar.
Photo suggestions

1.

Photos should be NO SMALLER than 3 1/2" x 5" and NO LARGER than 8" x 10".

2.

If you are submitting a photo taken by a professional photographer (other than yourself), we must have a signed release from the photographer or we cannot use the photo.

3.

All photos will identify the beardies and humans in the photo, as well as the owner(s) of the beardie(s). Only photos from professional photographers with signed releases will identify the photographer.

4.

If you are submitting a photo of a beardie that has crossed the Rainbow Bridge and would like that noted  please note " Rainbow Bridge" with your photo information.
