4/8/08 Sometimes we rescuers fall in love with our fosters and just can't imagine giving them up. Finnegan's foster family said that he is such a sweet fellow -- a once-in-a-lifetime pet -- that they have decided to keep him. They feel very fortunate to have been able to save this sweet guy's life and provide a home for him for many years to come.
Original Story 3/6/2008 - What a gentle boy. Finnegan is a happy, sweet shaggy male found by Animal Control in a remote area of N.E. Georgia. Finnegan is between 1-2 years old, weighs just under 30 pounds and is 18 inches high at his front shoulder. |

| Finnegan is learning his new name, housetraining, treats, playing with toys, vitamins, manners, basic commands and has even learned to sing when his foster Mom plays the harmonica. He rides exceptionally well in a car, and while we’ve only had him in foster care a few days, we haven’t heard any barking. Finnegan is located near Athens, GA. |
