10/25/07 - We had no idea that this beautiful and gentle Neardie would receive so many wonderful offers for forever homes, and are so appreciative of the Neardie lovers around the country who applied for Audrey.  Her new forever home is thrilled to have her as a new family member, after their two senior dogs passed away in the last year, one was almost seventeen years old.  Audrey will
have a wonderful life with a Charlotte, NC family. 

Original Story 9/17/07 - A woman 'of a certain age' is considered very desirable in Europe.  Audrey, too, has her own special allure that belies her estimated seven years.  She looks and acts like a young dog, is housetrained and well-mannered with other dogs in her foster home. 

She came out of a shelter and while very thin, we cannot imagine a more beautiful, sweet girl.  She was only 24 pounds and rail thin when she came out of the shelter but that will change!!
