9/31/2006 - This shaggy mix looked like she had alot of terrier in her, but her personality was calm, gentle and laid back.  She wagged her tail tentatively when we saw her at animal control, and was so pleased when we took her home.  Even the animal control volunteers were smitten by her beautiful brown eyes and loving nature. 

A couple who had applied for a BONE dog who had already found a forever home raced to meet Mitzi the very next day, bringing their other two shaggy rescues along to make sure it was a good match.  Scooter the Briard mix and Squirt the Lhasa (who can be finicky about other dogs) were instantly in love with Mitzi.  She will have two fenced acres to run and enjoy, and very loving and indulgent parents.  We look forward to her new name and her new life
