Kay in Arizona
Has a Home

9-23-2006 Adopted

- original story -Kay is a Neardie.  I believe she got her name because she was found at a Circle Kay convenience store just hanging out.  She is a young dog and has grown while in foster care with Jolyn near Phoenix AZ.  Her tail is docked and her foster Mom Jolyn says it feels like a surgical dock.  Kay looks a little like a boarder collie, but moves more like a beardie.

She is very turned on by the sheep that live with her.  Kay is sweet, affectionate and desparately want to be loved.  Jolyn says Kay was very shy at first and has really warmed to people.  She gets along well with children.  She is fairly high energy.  She is up to date on her shots and is microchipped.  She is not spayed and has not yet come into season.
Kay does have a slightly crooket front jaw, there are some teeth missing.  No difficulties eating or drinking.  She is at a good weight and has a nice coat.  Jolyn (foster Mom) breeds and shows Australian Cattle Dogs and says Kay eagerly follows other dogs through agility equipment.
