Duncan in Indiana
Has a Home

3/12/06 - Duncan has gone to his new home in Pittsburgh! When I told his new mom, Gwyn, about some of Duncan’s antics here—unrolling the toilet tissue, bouncing up on the computer desk, and counter surfing—she laughed and said that she always likes the dogs that are real characters. We’ll miss his Beardie silliness, but I’m sure that Gwyn and Duncan will share many years of laughter together.

Original Story 2/4/06 - Duncan, formerly listed here as Dookie, is one sweet guy! Pictures do not do him justice as he is downright adorable. Duncan is Beardie size and has the most beautiful coal black soft coat. Although the pictures make him appear brown, it seems to only be sun bleached. He is thin, but gaining weight nicely and should probably top out around 45-50 pounds. Duncan is housebroken and crate trained. He is, however, a bit noisy in his crate at first, but will settle down. Duncan loves everyone, human and canine, but might be a bit too energetic with toddlers.

Duncan is all puppy and a bit of a clown, perhaps just a year old. He loves to run, bounce, and play with toys. Duncan is full of puppy energy and will need either a fenced yard or a family who is willing to commit to daily walks. Once Duncan has a good run, he’s quite settled in the house.

Duncan’s new family will need to invest in obedience classes. He is not unruly, just simply a puppy who’s been given no direction. Duncan is quite smart and eager to learn.
