2/4/05 - Murphy will still be a bouncing Beardie, but he won't be bounced around anymore. His forever Mom, Sarah Linn, picked him up this morning.  She works out of her home and is very dog savvy.  Her longtime lab died of lymphoma last fall and she waited until she was ready.  Murphy was so special to her, she couldn't believe anyone could give him up.  He will enjoy and share her home and fenced yard, her mountain home, her many dog-loving friends and regular romps at the local dog park.  As Sarah said, "When there is an invitation for dinner at my house it's a given that their dog is invited, to"   She titers, goes to a holistic vet, and will feed him raw, which he was introduced to a few weeks back.  Thanks to all the great applicants who applied for Murphy, and thanks to Murphy for being such a good ambassador for BONE.

Original Story 12/30/04 - Hi! I'm about as perfect a boy as I can be. I am two years old and love other dogs, love following my humans around the house, love sleeping on my bed with my head on your shoulder. I am soft and cuddly and love riding in the car, I prefer the front seat, thank you. I have a Beardie body and size, and I'm dark gray, my markings are light grey but there's no mistaking my Beardie personality. my hair was cut due to matts but is growing back beautifully. How could anyone resist my soulful eyes and happy smile? I'm neutered and up to date on shots, and all preventatives. I'm also microchipped. My last family didn't like my wet feet in the house so they gave me up, please know that Beardies are water sponges!
