"12/18/04: Buddy just got the best Christmas gift of all, a new forever home with the Brandaus in Indiana. His new family comes complete with two kids to play with! The Brandaus wanted their daughters to grow up with a dog as they themselves had. The were very careful when meeting Buddy; they took their time and asked many important and thoughtful questions before deciding Buddy was the one. That's how good matches are made, and this one looks like it will be perfect.

Original story: Buddy was reported to BONE from a shelter in southern Indiana. They thought he might be a Beardie/Briard mix. He is about two years old and a very mellow, well mannered guy. He likes to ride in the passenger seat, go for walks, and play fetch. When he first came to us, he needed to be wormed and neutered. Once he went to his new foster home, he just sort of blossomed. He even became acquainted with goats and llamas."
