.1/25/04 - Midge found a wonderful home with the Hutchison family of Mansfield, Ohio. They previously had a Beardie mix who lived to the age of 15 and are delighted that they are able to adopted another neardie. They have 6 acres, of which a portion will be fenced off just for Midge this Spring.

Original Story 1/3/04 - Midge is a love bug. She came from an Ohio Humane Society where her owners had turned her in. So far, we have not seen any evidence of improper behavior. As a matter of fact, she's a doll! She loves people, plays well with other dogs, and is even good around cats. She is housebroken and has had a couple of obedience classes.

She's also great in the car. We think she is 3-4 years old; weighs around 45 pounds. Her fur will be long when it grows out; apparently her previous owners kept it cut short. Frankly, its a toss-up as to what she is mixed with, but she has that wonderful sweet Beardie personality.She has been spayed and brought up-to-date on all her vaccinations
