.02/23/04 - Special Thanks to Darlene from Real Dog RsQ., Inc. located in Lindenhurt, NY www.rdr.petfinder.com who helped get Buck from the Shelter to New York, and meeting up with a BONE member (Dianna Lee) to get Buck to safety.

Buck was due to be PTS in NY on February 20th at a kill shelter.... On Thursday February 19th I, Dianna Lee, drove to New York from Philadelphia to get him from Darlene. Buck stayed at my house for 3 days and went to his forever home in South Philadelphia.

Buck (now named Chancey) got a chance from being PTS via rescue and by his adopted family, Jessica Tursi of South Philadelphia. Buck now lives with his 2 sisters (4 legged) Shana (a Bearded Collie/OES rescue and Daisey (a Black Lab rescue)....

Buck/Chancey also has 1 sister and 3 brothers (2-legged)...Oh and a kitty cat too. He is being such a good boy, the family that adopted him said, "Their family is now complete." Chancey is even eating out of the same bowl with his 2 sisters Shana and Daisey and behaving very nicely.

This is a very happy ending to a dog that would have been PTS if I didn't drive to NY to save him.... and now his forever home is deeply in love with him and completed!
