Sadie in South Carolina
Sadie is small and Sweet
Has a Home

11/23/03 - Has a home. Sadie’s former owners contacted BONE rescue when they felt that it would be best to find her another home, due to unforeseen personal circumstances. A wonderful couple, the Dittmar family from Illinois, had lost their 16 year old Beardie “Skippy” to cancer five months previously, and they felt they were ready for a new furry family member. Once they saw Sadie’s photo and heard about her sweet disposition, they made plans to drive 900 miles through seven states to pick her up. She will be going to work every day with her mother, who is an attorney in an office with 13 others. She’s already including Sadie in her holiday plans and is even considering sending out announcements. We know that this is one ‘lucky dog’ and one wonderful forever home.

Original Story: 11/11/03 - This is Sadie. She is just twenty one months old and was saved from the pound. She is only 25 pounds but this pint-sized sweetheart has a wonderful way about her

She is really sweet, great with other dogs, and as gentle as they get. She has a strong herding instinct. If you can give this gorgeous girl a home (photos don’t do her justice), please contact:
