Romeo - in North Carolina
Romeo will get his coat back
Has a Home

2/23/04 - Romeo has found a forever home with his foster parents Danny and Karla in N.C. and his beardie brother, Doodle. After some real health issues, Romeo has learned to trust humans and has become extremely affectionate. Whenever Romeo was suppose to go to another home, something always got in the way of him leaving. The last time he had to have emergency oral surgery. His foster parents decided these were "signs" and that Romeo was meant to stay with them. His birthday has been chosen to be Feb. 14th.! Romeo has come a long way with the love and patience of his family. He now has a wonderful forever home.

12/20/03 Original Story: Romeo was found as a stray and suffered a very tramatic "capture" from animal control, Romeo is such a sweet boy. He is under two years of age, weighs 38 lbs. He has been neutered, is heartworm negative, has his first shots and is undergoing treatment for hook and whip worms. This guy is thin. He had to be shaved since he was so matted. His mats had barbed wire caught in them!

Romeo skiiny and shaved
First Photo - he was very skinny and had been shaved down

From his behavior, we think Romeo belonged to someone who loved him. He is very smart and knows how to communicate. He is crate trained, loves to play ball, and knows how to sit on command.
