10/15/03 - Has a home. His new Mom is Susan Reed who came from Vinton, Va., all the way to S.C. to get him. Susan has another 4 year old female that looks a lot like Rags so he will have a sister to play with. He "took" to Susan right away.

Original Story: 10/30/03 - This is Ragamuffin, nicknamed Rags for short. He is 8 months to a year old and has had his first shots. Heartworm negative.

Rags loves everyone. He is quick to give kisses, is learning to walk on a lead, and has springs on his feet. He has lots of puppy energy. Found as a stray, his coat has been trimmed some because of the tangles. More may need to be cut. Rags weighs 25 lbs. and wants to be a lap dog. He gets along well with other dogs and is real interested in cats

He probably would chase them if they ran, but his intent is not to harm. He is such a happy dog that needs a family to love him.
