Teddy - Now is Red
From California to Arizona
Teddy - Now Red
Has a Home

7/31/03 Teddy, now named Red, has found a new home and is happily running around his 5-acre backyard outside of Tucson,

Arizona. His new owners are thrilled to add his gentle soul into their household, which contains another dog rescued from a shelter and a cat. “We lost our beloved Beardie Silver about 14 months ago, and are now ready to add another dog to our family,” said his new owners.

Red was a stray found in an animal shelter in a suburb of San Diego, California. The shelter had declared him “unadoptable,” as they thought he was a fearful dog. BONE members recognized him as a Neardie who was scared as a result of being in the shelter environment, but not fearful dog. BONE rescued him and fostered him until his new owners could drive to California and meet him. It was love at first sight, and Red was immediately adopted.
