Suki in North Carolina
Suki
Has a Home

We found Suki huddled in the corner of a kill shelter. We didn’t know if she was aggressive or scared but it turns out she

was petrified. Her entire demeanor changed as soon as we got her out. She has been adopted by the most

devoted family, and has two canine companions, including a Neardie. “She seemed to fit in from Day One,” according to her

forever Mom, who can’t imagine life without her. By the way, Suki got her name when her forever

Mom opened the first photos we sent her and the name immediately came to me. She didn’t think it had any meaning, but when she told a friend who has been to Japan that friend told her “Suki” actually is the Japanese word for “love”. This one was meant to be.
