Moppett in Indiana

Sept. 2003
Has a Home

4/11/03: Moppet, now Keaten has a new home with Mary Kay and Terry Friedericks in Dyer Indiana. Keaten also has a new brother to play with. They love to play tug-of war together and seen to be slowly bonding. Keaten loves to sleep in his crate and now goes there on his own. Mary Kay says Keaten is a very intelligent boy. Moppet was rescued from the Lafayette Humane Society on March 27th.

Original Story 4/2/03: Moppet has had a rough life for such a young dog. He was picked up by animal control in Lafayette Indiana full of burrs and very frightened. The humane society had to cut most of his hair off, he was in such bad shape. He was at the shelter for 8 days and no one came to claim him. I'm not sure exactly what breed he is, possibly neardie/ tibetan terrier, as his tail curls up. He has come a long way in the short time that he has been with me. Moppet is on the small side, weighing about 23/24 lb.s, but is skin and bones. He will be a beautiful boy once he gains some much needed weight and his hair grows back.

Moppet does not like to ride in the car. . He is mostly housebroken, except for a few accidents, which we are working on. He loves to be outside, but will need a fenced yard, as he will take off if he gets loose. I would suggest that he be placed without small children as he likes to play a little rough. He gets along great with my older dogs, but they are not at all interested in playing with him. He is about one yr. old, loves to sleep in bed with you at night, and gives sweet kisses. Won't you come meet Moppet? You will fall in love with him. He is being fostered in Hammond Indiana. Moppett playing
