6/1/03 Dinky, now Rochester, went to his forever home today with Gina Frost in Chicago. He now has two OES sisters named Maggie and Chelsea. His new mom said that this evening he will be introduced to the real rulers of the house - the CATS. Gina said, quote, (resently we had a dinner party where all the attendees were female. We decided we needed more men at the party. I guess Rochester fills the role). Dinky will be sadly missed by his foster mom.

Original Story 5/27 I don't know anything about Dinky's past as he was a stray. He was picked up by animal control and no one came to claim him. He came to me with an ear infection and a puncture wound on his leg, which is healing up nicely. He has a Beardie coat and terrier ears that stand up. He also has a short/cropped tail. I'm not sure if it is by chose or by accident.

When he sees you, his whole back end shakes all over. He is very sweet and gentle and just wants to please. Someone shaved the hair off his face, but it will grow back and he will be absolutely beautiful. I am working diligently to remove the matting from his coat, instead of having him shaven down.

He loves to run around the yard and plop down like he is herding. He is not at all crazy about his crate, so at night, I let him sleep in my room, where he is content to lay on the floor next to the bed.

He is between 3 and 5 years old, weighs between 35-40 lbs, is mostly housebroken and will be neutered this week. Dinky is being fostered in Hammond Indiana.
