Sissy in Louisiana
Sissy Louisiana
Has a Home

10/27/03Sissy and her foster parents decided after 7 months that Sissy has found her forever home..

3/2/03 Original Story - Sissy is a Neardie? Wheatable who was picked up running loose in Southern Louisiana.

She was spayed and adopted out once but brought back by the new family because she was too active. She is very sweet and affectionate. Sissy was taken to my vet last Thursday where she got her full quota of shots. She is about 1 year old spayed and hw pos. She will be receiving her heartworm treatment Monday, March 23. She is kennel trained, seems to be cat friendly (I was introduced to her in the cat room at the shelter and she wasn't worried about the cats at all) and may be a little dog aggressive.

She barks and lunges when another dog is walked past her kennel. But that may be because she is in the kennel and thdy are out. She is Wheaton color with black pigment. She has been trimmed and the coat is growing back nicely. It is fairly coarse, just about the texture of a Beardie top coat. She is very loving and sweet. Over all, she is a nice dog who just needs a home with people or kids who will play with her.
