Winston is a very energetic 10 year young male Brittany who desperately needs a home.  His lifelong pal, a Beardie mix, was placed through BONE, but Winston has not been so lucky. He is a very affectionate boy, loves everyone he meets.  His health is excellent, he is current on shots, and he should have many active years ahead of him. 

A new couple came to apply for membership at an all breed club that Claudia McCracken belongs to and as fate would have it they sat by Dianne (another member)  and her flyers for Winston. They said that they used to have Brittany and what wonderful dogs they were, well of course they had to give them a flyer.  They said that he might be the perfect dog for their son's family that had been looking for just the right dog for them.  They are a family with three children and a stay at home mom. They decided to take him on a trail basis. The mother not wanting to upset her children if he wasn't going to work out told them that they were keeping him for Dianne. When one of the little boys got ready to go to school this morning he went to the mom and said could we please just tell her that he ran away and keep him. Dianne called that afternoon to see how the visit was going and no one answered, so she was a little worried as this lady pretty much just stays home with her children. She returned Dianne's message and said that they had been at the store BUYING A 50 LB SACK OF DOG FOOD. She said every time she stops Winston runs and lays on her feet. The whole family loves him and he is getting so much attention that everyone has to take turns.  Winston found his home.
