Phoebe in North Carolina

Has a Home

11/10/01. Phoebe, aka Bug, was adopted by Therapeutic Alternatives, an assisted living facility in North Carolina. They had been looking for a rescue dog to be the resident pooch and had tried one from the shelter that just wasn't a good fit. They found Phoebe/Bug through BONE and Judy Howard . The residents love her and give her all the love and attention that any girl could ever want! The management has provided her with a bed, toys, a fenced area, and a staff schedule that provides for all her needs. Not bad for a 3-legged orphan !

Original Story 7/09/01

Phoebe, AKA "Bug A Boo" at her foster home, is in desperate need of a forever home. This darling dog is wonderful and loving with people, but she needs to be the only dog in the household. Perhaps she has her reasons, as she lost her front leg to an injury--perhaps a dog inflicted bite. No matter as far as people are concerned, as this pooch simply lives to be loved by humans. She is young, energetic, and able to give lots of love. We doubt that she even realizes she is absent a leg! That said, Phoebe needs a forever home, and soon.
