| My name is Mikey an I am adopted! (8/16/00) My foster parents have
caved in as I knew they would. It was love at first sight a week
ago and they have been resisting - sumptin about a future. But I
sneeked up on them and stole their hearts.
This is Mikey who was found at a shelter in Boone, NC. The first week of August 2000 and quickly fostered by a BONE Member. He is an absolute dollbaby. A perfect Mr. Mikey. He is a black and cream Beardie Mix who is 2 1/2 to 3 yrs. old. He is 43 lbs. and absolutely loves to eat! He is in a foster home with a Beardie female and a male Tabby Cat and they all get along very well. He is really quiet unless he decides he wants something.....like his dinner. Then he woofs a few times to get your attention or he will even carry his bowl to the kitchen to be filled. He rides well in a car, usually watching out a window, walks extremely well on a leash and is good with children. He loves ice cream! He is house-trained and really enjoys being outside on a nice day. His hair was trimmed and groomed professionally because of filth and mats and is now a very handsome fella. He will be even better when his coat grows back especially on his rear and legs. He even had some of his beard trimmed. Absolutely wonderful dog. Too gushy? All of it is true.
