Maggie & Sadie in Georgia

Maggie.......................Sadie
Have Homes

11/14/02 Have found homes

Original Story 9/19/02 - Maggie and Sadie need to find a new home (hopefully, together since they are best friends); their human family is breaking apart due to divorce. They are both rescues (Sadie was a BONE rescue in Sept. '01); both are 3 to 4 years old, spayed, crate trained, house broken, good on leashes. They are good with other dogs - no cats, please. Maggie is a social butterfly; Sadie is a bit more reserved, is protective of her human children and does not like bicycles! Both are affectionate and loving girls.

When Sadie was spayed she had an allergic reaction to the sutures that were used which caused a massive infection. This caused an autoimmune response that triggered diabetes insipidous (a non-insulin type of diabetes). To keep this under control, Sadie needs to take medication twice a day; other than this, both girls are in excellent health.
