02/24/02 - Jake is now living in Savannah, GA, with a retired couple who will be providing him with around-the-clock companionsh. They recently lost their 15-yr. old neardie who looked remarkably like Jake's twin brother and they are delighted to welcome Jake into their family. They're even providing him with his own cat

Original Story 2/23/02- Jake is a 4-year old, male neardie. He is neutered, weighs 35 lbs., house trained, is current on his shots and is heartworm negative. He is comfortable around children, is very loving and gets along well with other dogs but has no experience with cats. Jake is looking for a new home because his owners work long hours and travel a lot and he is left home alone. He has developed separation anxiety and they can no longer deal with his chewing. Jake needs a very special home where his new family will be willing to help him get over his separation anxiety. The ideal family will be work-at-home folks so that Jake will not be left alone. The current owners are prepared to pay for several months worth of Clomicalm (doggie Prozac) to help with Jake's anxiety.
