Friday - North Carolina
Has a Home
9/4/00 Friday in North Carolina has a home.  Friday is a Beardie Mix.  Friday will be living with his new family, the Antle's in Chapel Hill. They lost their dog of 15 years  last year and are really looking forward to Friday's arrival.   The Antle's have a large fensed backyard and keep their dogs well groomed  and in the house.  Both are retired and have a wonderful home.

He is about 60 pounds. A few months ago he was rescued from a shelter in South Carolina by a BCCA rescue person - Laurie Smith.  While she did not at all feel he was a full Beardie, she simply could not leave him there to die. Laurie wanted to have him handled through BONE at the time, but before he could be listed with BONE, Laurie was fortunate enough, she thought, to have found a good adopting person.  However, there was a relationship break up which now leaves Friday without someone during the week (the owner is a flight attendant)

Friday is well behaved, and very very loving.  He is being boarded during the week and home on the weekends. He originally was in good health with no heartworm or parvo. He had multiple infected tick bites and a few parasites in his stool. He was neutered, wormed, treated with antibiotics for the bites, given a rabies shot and all other innoculations needed. He is current, according to his present owner on Interceptor and Frontline.

According to Laurie, the new owner has said that Friday's hair has grown longer than the pictures.
