Franny - Missouri

Has a Home

Franny was found in the St. Louis shelter, and was about 5-6months old. Apparently she had been dumped there by a neighbor when her owners moved and never came back for her.

Michael Halwe and Julie Patzius and so many others really pulled hard to rescue this girl after much grief from the shelter and much red tape. She was a sweet, loving beardie-like dog with abounding energy and a free spirit. She was transported to CT via a long trip through Ohio, and took the ride like a trooper.

Once there, she was probably afraid that she would be left again , and was very distressed at being crated, and seemed that she would be most happy in a home where she would not be left alone too much during the day. Her foster mommy in Indy who had Franny for one night fell in love with her, (as did her whole family) , and doesn't work full time. After considering what would be best for Franny, her CT parents, reluctantly arranged to have her flown back to her forever home in Indianapolis where she will have the companionship of two Malties, one Coton de tulear, one Beardie brother, and two boisterous young boys to play with.

Last heard was that she has adjusted well and here's to another happy ending....

P.S. Pictures were taken by Janet Fiske who fostered her before her trip to Indy.
