Cole (now Loki)- California (now Texas)
Has a Home
Cole, now named Loki, was originally spotted in a California shelter 6/16/00. He was about 18 months old. He was pulled from the shelter, cleaned up, and kenneled, he awaited his new home through BONE. After about a month, a home looked possible and he was on his way. It fell through, but by then, I had put an offer in to buy a condo and wanted to adopt him myself. Only problem is that he was in California, and I live in Texas.

Kathy Bookbinder, who adopted her Lucky through BONE, graciously volunteered to provide him with a home for the few months till I could close on and get settled into mine.  Then her sister, Elizabeth Perrin, who owns my Max's half-brother and works for American Airlines, stepped forward to offer assistance transporting him to Texas.

On Sunday 10/29, roughly 4.5 months after he was pulled from the shelter, Loki finally boarded a flight for his new home and arrived safely in Dallas, TX, where a week later he had the unfortunate experience of finally being neutered as well!

He is a complete sweetie.  Most likely he's been abused previously, judging by his behaviorisms, but is still completely loving towards people.  Max enjoys having a full-time playmate to boss around as well. Now, thanks to BONE, Kathy, and Elizabeth, Loki's new life can begin, and the rescue chapter to his story has finally closed...

Thanks again to everyone who's helped get Loki to his new forever-home!
