So far - here is the sucess story from his new owner Jo Ledingham in
Belcarra, BC, Canada.
Cody Colorado was delivered by Feathers and Fur from Georgetown, Colorado
to my friend's house in Bellingham, WA (2 cats, 1 guinea pig!) where
I was waiting for him. He was enroute for 3 days and apparently managed
the journey really well. He's gorgeous! Full of beans, a bit bigger
than I expected - but that's fine, and a real sweetie. We headed north
across the border to Belcarra (another 1-1/2 hours in the car). Thought
he was going to climb right out the window at Customs! We've already
checked out the ocean in front of the cottage. ( I guess there's a chance
he's never seen one. ) And we had a late afternoon rainy walk through
the woods behind the house. He's just a great big goofy puppy (1-1/2
years) and a great addition to my life. As I key this message in, he's
lying at my feet. My friend took pictures and I'll get them scanned
when I get them from her - so stay tuned. The woodstove is lit, we're
abandoning the den and going in to watch the Simpson's. I sure hope
it's one of his favourites. Thanks to everyone at BONE - especially
Judy Barnette who was *great* - and when the "issues" arise
- as they usually do with rescued animals - I'll be back for words of
wisdom. Cheers from Jo and Cody in Belcarra, BC, Canada
