8/24/02 - There is a perfect home out
there for every dog. For Charlie, the third time was the charm. Charlie
played too rough for small dogs and young children, and was returned
to his foster home twice. He needed a family who understood dogs and
who was willing to spend the time to train him. Ron and Laurel Richey
from Illinois have given him such a wonderful home. Charlie and his
beardie sister, Rags, even have matching bandanas. He is doing well
in obedience school, and loves playing with all his new toys. It took
him a while to conquer his fear of stairs, but he doesn't even think
about it any more. Charlie is very much loved, and it sounds like he
has finally found his forever home. He is a very lucky boy to have found
such a great family. Just look at the smile on his face!
