Casey, a Beardie Mix, is thought to be 13 years old - but healthy as a 9 year old.  He was said to have diarrhea when turned in by  his owner.  The vet that saw him in Calgary reported he was healthy, neutered. No idea about vaccinations.  Overweight and a bit stiff.  He is a  very nice dog with good house manners - no accidents, no leg lifting, stays off the  furniture, whines softly to go out, scratches gently to come in.  He sleeps through the night.  Barks  occasionally - for good reason  Knows sit, stay, shake a paw. His car manners are excellent.   Casey does OK on a leash but doesn't know heel and will pull if something interests him.   Good recall off leash. He likes other dogs, and has done well with cats and other small animals. Excellent with women and older boys (not sure yet about men or kids), slightly cautious of  newcomers but friendly.  He likes to east and will go in a crate.
