Calli in California

Has a Home

6/4/01 - Ann fell in love with Calli on first meeting. She and her friend stayed about an hour and a half and I felt extremely happy to have Calli go with them. They thought she
was the cutest and sweetest thing in the world and they loved her
temperament. Ann has always had dogs, and among many other animals when
her children were growing up, and she and her friend were definitely "dog
people"!

Original story 5/16/01 - "Calli" was rescued from a Southern CA animal shelter just in time. Her time there was up, but now her life has just begun. In the two weeks she has been in her foster home, she has learned basic commands, is almost housebroken, and gets along well with the other female dog in residence. She is a quick learner and extremely SWEET. She loves to cuddle. At 10 months of age, Calli is 35 pounds of love, spayed and current on her shots. Because her coat was such a matted mess, she had to be shaved. Nonetheless, she is a lovely lass and deserves a second chance.
