I have a new home.  After traveling around to be fostered by nice people, I have a home.  I am now free of heartworm and everyone thinks I am adorable.

Karolyn Beery and her family picked up Buster 11/25/00. THEY ARE THRILLED- apparently Buster  is the happy well mannered boy that those who have met him thought he was.  He just stretched out all over the family in the van, happy and calm- like he was waiting for them.  He is now resting on his new custom bed with his happy people. Karolyn was amazed at how well he is doing.

My story from before I found my home:
Here is some of the description on his "Report Card" :
happy, loving, friendly, and playful.   In addition to the pre-checked personality items: "[Buster] is very sweet and quiet.  He doesn't bark very much."  Under additional comments they wrote: "Very smart.  Listens well and is extremely kind."  And:  house trained and with a certain amount of obedience training.  He would make someone a wonderful companion.

Buster was originally thought to be a long hair shaggy mix.  At one point several people thought he was beardie mix as he is about the right height.  That turned out to be overgrown hair and mats.  He has now been trimmed to the skin - and the coloring looks more black at that level.  He looks like an English Springer Spaniel - or a mix.  He  was treated for heart worm, and all the regular vet recommended vaccinations.

Buster was an owner turn in to a shelter in Indiana.  He is wonderful with people, not afraid of loud noises or nervous at all - just a happy guy.  He is 4 years old, maybe 45 pounds, and he has had a hard life - his first owner left him with someone who really could not care for him - so he was chained up for 3 years.  But he was not mistreated - it was no fault of the second owner (a relative) - they felt he deserves a better life.  He was noted as a very friendly dog - great companion for someone - and will definitely give lots of love back.

Maybe you would like to open your home and heart up to this fella?
