SPECIAL EVENTS

 

AUCTION

 

Our annual auction committee has been working hard to make this event a fun and memorable one.  The evening will start with a festive Italian Wine Country Buffet in the Chardonnay Room of the Doubletree.  There you will also be able to view the many, many wonderful auction treasurers that members have generously donated, while having an adult beverage from the cash bar.   Our special guest auctioneers will be encouraging you all to bid often and bid high as part of the proceeds of the night benefit BCCA rescue efforts.

 

In addition to the regular auction, Regional Bearded Collie Clubs are encouraged to enter the Annual Regional Club Auction Challenge which began at last year’s national.  This event, which takes place during the regular auction, showcases some very creative beardie baskets and items from each of the regions of the country and is a great way for clubs to show their support to the BCCA rescue.  The Regional Club with the highest amount paid for their entry will also get to keep part of the proceeds.

 

HOW TO DONATE AN AUCTION ITEM:

 

You may bring your item to be donated along with you to the specialty or mail it before hand.  In either case we ask that you please fill out the auction donation form and send it to Sandy Remell, Auction Chair, at 2725 Alta Vista, Fairfield, CA 94534, by October 1st.  We need the description of the donated item so that the items can be cataloged ahead of time.   If you are bringing your item with you, please drop it off at the hospitality room by Wednesday morning at 9 am.  Get the donation form
