The National Capital Bearded Collie Club is pleased to be your host for the 2007 BCCA national specialty. We have picked a specialty experienced hotel to host the variety of activities we have planned for your enjoyment. Our venue, Frederick, Maryland, is located equidistance from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, Maryland and is close to many civil war battlefields. You will certainly be tempted to take a few extra days to see the many sights the area offers.

We have planned a full itinerary of events that you will want to participate in. Since each event is special we are planning on having no events running concurrently with any other events so you can see it all. We kick off our week with the specialty herding trials (on Monday, October 1st) held at Scarletts Mill in Birdsboro, PA. On Tuesday we move to the host hotel grounds for the rest of our events which will begin with agility. The hotel’s charming indoor courtyard will be the site for Tuesday evening’s Welcome Party. Obedience, rally and 4 days of conformation events begin on Wednesday. Along the way we will be offering seminars, the not to be missed auction, and the banquet to end the week in style.

We hope you will start making plans now to join us for the competitions, education, visiting with old friends and making new ones. We look forward to meeting each one of you.
